Soft Constraint Solving and Programming: a general framework

The Soft Constraints idea is able to capture many real life situations that cannot be represented and solved with the classical crisp constraint framework. Several extensions were proposed in the last years, but we show that we can use One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
